Hi, I’m Michael Benjamin. I’ve worked my way through startups, in-house teams, large agencies, and my own independent practice.

But I never expected how much teaching would shape my thinking. I’ve spent years as an adjunct professor at CU Boulder, teaching brand strategy and identity design at the undergraduate and graduate level. Teaching sharpened my process and changed the way I collaborate.

What I believe, and what I teach, is that design without strategy is decoration. A brand built on a clear understanding of what you stand for, who your customers are, and what makes you different does not just look good. It holds up. ✌️
